1962 Red Spider Veloce

This 1962 a eo Giulietta Spider ce was manufactured on January 19, 1962 and sold new in the US on April 30, 1962. A rotisserie refurbishment was carried out approximately seven years ago by a prior owner and the car was acquired by the seller in 2017. It is equipped with an original type AR 00106 series 1300cc twin-cam inline-four equipped with dual Weber carburetors and paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and an original dealer-installed push-button radio, a black canvas soft top, and fender-mounted side mirrors. It is currently registered in nd as a 1963 model.
A letter from a eo Centro Documentazione r Fazio confirms chassis AR 171861 as a Giulietta Spider ce and its date of manufacture.

It has 15” Fergat steel wheels with correct a eo hubcaps mounted on estein 155 x 15 tires and is fitted with four-wheel drum brakes.  The interior is upholstered in the correct style black vinyl, piped in red and has red carpeting with black a eo-logo rubber mats.  Lap belts are present and it has a locking glovebox.

All the instruments have refurbished faces and operate well with the exception of the fuel gauge, which will be sorted prior to delivery. l mileage is unknown, although the odometer shows just over 74,600 miles. 

The ce specification includes higher-lift camshafts, forged pistons and connecting rods, and dual Weber carburetors. An alternator has been installed in place of the original generator.
