Immaculate 1966 Corvette Sting for sale. This classic car is a highly desirable Blue Coupe with Blue interior and knock-off wheels with blue line tires. The engine is a 327 / 350 HP (L79) matching numbers small block with newly rebuilt carburetor, also equipped with a 4-speed transmission, teakwood steering wheel, 4-wheel disc brakes and a brand new N-11 off-road undercar exhaust system. A frame-off restoration was completed on this beautiful second generation Corvette in 2003-2004. It achieved a NCRS gional Top Flight designation in 2022 and had previously achieved Chapter, gional and National Top Flight status. In addition, it has been awarded d certification, the d Spinner urse certificate for excellence and earned the le Crown Award. This car was previously owned by Major gue seball HOF ggie kson ( ggie’s ge) and is fully documented.

This very special Corvette was manufactured in , MO on June 24, 1966.  y of its original parts are still part of the car including the engine block, the cylinder heads (late builds in 1966 had 1967 heads) and the 4-speed transmission.  The body was built by the A.O. Company and sports the correct Blue (code 976) metallic color paint, repainted with a base coat / clear coat.  The correct Blue (code 414) vinyl interior trim, all in excellent condition, beautifully compliments the exterior paint.  In addition, this car is equipped with a 3.36:1 posi-traction rear axle, correct y carburetor, aluminum intake manifold and an aluminum radiator.  the last 2 years, the following new parts have been installed on the car: alternator, tar top Delco battery, water pump, fan clutch, master cylinder cap, electronic ignition, canister to spin-on oil filter adaptor (the original canister goes with the car), the teak steering wheel and the off-road exhaust system.  A flannel custom car cover also goes with the car.  y photos of the original car, the frame-off restoration, owner history and receipts, both historic and recent, are included with the extensive documentation in the binder created to contain this valuable information.
