For sale is an original 70,000 mile 1 was the last year the Tri-Power was offered. This is a very, very, late model year Corvette and, as a result, is likely one of the last couple, or few, 435HP Tri-power Corvettes to come off the line in 1969 (last week of production). The photos include a picture of the emissions decal which, under black light, shows this car can only have been a 425hp, 435hp, or 430hp car. It is not a L88, 430hp, car for anyone who might ask.  Other details show that this is indeed an original model year resolved numerous issues found during the first year of production of this new 1968 body style. y work is very smooth and the original za d paint job looks excellent. The car runs well. Currently the interior has been removed except for the dash pad. rs and exterior trim are also off the car. y new parts come with the car to restore, including various exterior emblems including gas tank trim, interior center console, visors, various knobs, seat foam, door weatherstrip, wiring harnesses, stainless steel caliper rebuild kit, t-top bags, etc (~$3k in new parts). My plan was to make it look like new inside and out. The engine was rebuilt 1500 miles ago and ny 500 miles ago with documentation. The car has M22 Close-Ratio transmission with a 3.70 d Slip Differential, power brakes, power steering, tilt steering column, factory rear window defogger, factory soft ray tinted glass. Car also has new rear spring, front coils, exhaust manifold back, four stainless steel calipers, master cylinder and brake hoses. It does have a brake caliper leak. New minum radiator and hoses put in 15 years ago before parking car. The car is not matching numbers. I would need to look again to see what is what. I recall the intake and a couple carbs being from 1968 and some other parts are not matching. The engine block is the correct “512”, 4 bolt main 427 block with large oil plug in block. The car is a clean unwrecked car down to the straight frame that is solid. e is not rusted out behind the rear tires. Weatherstrip seals were removed on doors before repainting to get a clean looking restoration. Exterior needs bumpers and emblems put back on. The pictures show other relative condition. This would make a very nice car with some elbow grease since the paint and mechanical are in great shape.
