1967 Austinhealey 3000mkiii RED Convertible

This is what I know about the car. I took the car in trade in April of this year. The gentleman that had the car had it in his private collection of sports cars in bury k NJ for around 14 years. He enjoyed it and drove it at least once a month. He gave me all the paperwork that he had on the car from when he acquired it. Copy of Bill of sale dated 4/17/98 from ropean Collectables CA. They sold the stin Healey BJ8 3000 lll Chassis # 67HBJ8L38680 to L. VA, for the sum of $35,000. He was CEO of top energy mutual fund company. It’s been stated in the paperwork that after looking at many stin Healey’s this was the car of his choice as it was an all original car with matching #s and rust free. It was purchased in original condition. It then had over $45,000 in a frame off restoration. There are a lot of receipts, I am not sure I have all of them but there are photos of the car being taken down to bare frame. When the car was completed, he shipped it to rope for a tour. Once he completed his trip he shipped the car back to the US . It was put into storage and not driven for four years. The car then was put into heim auction in by seller and buyer. The car shows 9387 miles since car was restored. I have pictures of the original pictures of the car being taken down to bare metal. far as I can tell British Classic in VA, British Car Specialists in CA, and ropean Collectables in Ca, all contributed to the restoration. The car runs very nice to me and handles very well. The spare tire is new but aged. The other 4 Michelin are like new but aged. s depth wear on front are 7 the rear are 9 Dot date is FU PA. EJL X3201. There are 4 videos so please look at them. The paint on the front of valve cover has came off and I don’t know how or why. ve cover has no leaks. All the glass, chrome, top and boot are all in very good shape. kes, lights and gauges all work. The paint looks really good, but has nibbles in the clear again not sure why. der the car looks very nice. No original tools, except hammer and a box. Extra things like bulbs, fuses, and plug wires. New stainless exhaust on car. Car radio is behind the 3000Z emblem. In buying a class car, please remember your welcome to fly in, drive the car and completely check it out.
