1961 Dodge Powerwagon Flame Red WM300 Pickup Truck

The truck is one of 96,145 civilian units produced from 1946 to 1968 and was an bama truck since new, used initially in the coal mining industry.  A partial mechanical restoration done by the third owner began in 2012 including rebuilding the carburetor, all new wheel cylinders, brake shoes, brake lines, master cylinder,  fuel lines, radiator, hoses, locking hubs, windshield glass with a rebuilt crank-out mechanism, side and rear windows, taillights, reupholstered headliner and seat in brown, heavy-duty, period-correct, vinyl and custom made rims with BF BAJA T/A 37×12.50R16.5 tires. All previous owner’s records and restoration efforts are deemed reliable but not guaranteed.

The current owner, located in sota, FL. completed the body off-frame restoration after purchasing the vehicle in June, 2014.  All mechanical, body, and sheet metal components that required repair or replacement were done. The engine and drivetrain are original to the vehicle.  The truck was brought back to its original, as-can-be condition, except for modern improvements including custom power steering, custom power brakes, electronic ignition and synthetic winch cable. The body including the truck bed, tailgate, running boards and fenders were all replaced with the factory correct, after-market parts including the correct, knurled edges on the front fenders, and repainted in current day, RAM Power gon, “Flame d” paint by long-time Mopar restoration specialists r and Jim on of ton, .  All mechanical restoration improvements and vehicle reassembly was performed by master mechanic, Chris Downie of Jim tomotive and 10th ge of sota, .  The restoration was competed July 2024.  The current recorded mileage, believed to be actual is 34,775 miles.
