One of 2,215 built in the only model year the car was offered. The cars featured every option available as standard equipment, making them the most expensive car the marque offered that year. This example has been in the same family for roughly 20 years. In 2019 an extensive mechanical rebuild was completed by noted Studebaker restorers WCD ge of , s. In addition to a rebuild of the 259ci V8 engine, the car was fitted with a T-10 four-speed manual transmission and shifter. ils of the work done are provided in the photos. the mechanical restoration was being completed, the owner suffered a stroke and passed away less than a year later. The car was placed in climate-controlled storage and has remained there since 2019. It has been started and run each year, but has traveled less than 10 miles since the mechanical work was completed. The odometer, showing 54k miles, was functioning at the time of the mechanical restoration, but appears to have become stuck. The interior is in excellent condition. The paint presents well, but there are some small areas of rust. iled photos are attached.
