ne appears to be stuck. Passenger rear window needs motor (not included, door panel is loose from attempted repair). Needs a neutral safety switch installed (included).
History:
Car was manufactured mber 14, 1962, per VIN code 14L, in , Michigan (VIN code ).
Car was sold/titled to someone outside the USA, and imported back to the USA (per “F” code on title) in June of 1966 and titled in nsylvania. This may or may not have been the same owner. My guess is that it was a new owner who did not like the original gold color because at some point prior to April of 1993, the car was painted white – original color was “ ilian d llic” per letter “I” code on the VIN . (Also confirmed by gold color seat belts – see photo).
Car was sold/titled to a new nsylvania owner in April of 1993, with 49,875 original miles, per “0” code on title. He drove the car a total of less than 1,000 miles over the next 26 years of ownership (per title) and stored it in a garage, covered.
I purchased the car from that owner’s estate in gust of 2019, and titled it in nsylvania. I put the car in my name so that there will be a smooth title transfer to a new owner. I have the car tagged as an Antique Vehicle and if the new buyer is in nsylvania, I would be happy to transfer these tags to him/her. The car of course has been garaged.
I have not attempted to start the car since my ownership.
I had a new fuel pump, new power steering filter and new coil installed.
The only servicing documentation prior to that is the prior owner’s invoice (see photo) in July of 2000 showing tune-up and various part replacements (see photo).
Condition:
paint is in very good condition, has held up extremely well, and shines brightly. There are a few bubbles on hood and trunk and some at bottom of rear fenders (see photos). The paint job was obviously done by a professional, and included all areas like inside door jambs, inside engine compartment, etc. A few minor dings and chips.
Needs 4 new tires. 2 don’t hold air well – slow leaks.
Interior is also in very good condition Dash has a very small 1” crack in a very inconspicuous spot – see photo. Some wood trim has crazing/cracking as shown in photos.
Condition of the convertible top material is excellent.
I have all 4 hubcaps (in very good condition) and they will be included.
The car seems to have received an undercoating (like Ziebart) at some point in its history.
All windows work EXCEPT the passenger rear, as stated above. The car needs to be in neutral to check the windows, as the neutral safety switch needs to be installed, per above.
ou can hear the convertible top motor run when you push/pull the dash lever, but the top does not move. Condition of the convertible top material is excellent.
There of course could be other issues I am not aware of due to not having the car running, including brakes, fuel lines, etc.
I am happy to take more photos or do a video call for serious buyers. Or feel free to see the car in person (I am located about an hour south of , PA).
I am listing the car to gauge interest in its current condition. If I don’t receive an offer I can accept, I will invest to at least get the motor running and relist it at a new and appropriate price.
I tried to list everything I know about the car. I have sold a few vehicles on mings and pride myself on being as transparent as possible. Any question, just ask… thanks.
