1979 Lincoln MK 5 White Collector’s Series

Owned for 8 years by a V collector who currently has 5 of these wonderful V’s, and needs to downsize. This is a vehicle you can be proud to drive to a show or for an extended drive. A very “clean” car both cosmetically & mechanically. Original white exterior paint (except for hood which had been resprayed many years ago) with overall great paint finish, Midnight blue interior with leather seating in excellent condition, Moon of & external temperature gauge/mirror. No rust or dents on body work, minor paint chip damage has been touched up, vinyl roof in great condition, chrome quality is very good and it’s extremely clean underneath. The engine compartment is clean /detailed, & in recent years all major brake system parts & shock absorbers have been replaced, dual stainless exhaust system installed with both mufflers & resonators for a truly quiet ride, radiator hoses, belts, ignition system and carburetor etc. replaced / refurbished and oil & filters recently serviced.

Exceptionally rare items include the original Collector’s ies (CS) d ornament in outstanding condition, a CS leather wrapped tool kit almost complete (missing the flares for safety reasons), leather bound owners manual, and a nonfunctioning CS leather bound Knapp umbrella. These CS specialty items can occasionally be found but are VER expensive to replace. The drivers sun visor has the rare garage door button built in with pass code details listed.

The drive train is the 400 cubic inch engine and C6 transmission which are basically “bullet proof” and service parts are readily available.

Current owner has personalized some items such as: twin set of remote key fobs for doors and trunk lock operation, one-touch drivers window feature, tinted windows, aftermarket stereo system with new speakers and automatic rear power antennae, inside door trim next to windows, wheel spacers for modern wide track appearance, and dual band whitewalls by ck. s are visually in great condition with about 10K miles use & are approximately 11 years old. The engine emission system was modified while installing new timing gear /chain /water pump and the engine performs extremely well.

All seat controls, power windows, Moon of, including clock & the very rare to Empty gauge are functional, CS steering wheel appearance is excellent & HVAC is completely functional with cold AC.
