This 1974 Jaguar E-type ies 3 V12 Convertible is one of fewer than 500 E-types built in the final year of production. The car presents very well and has reportedly been repainted once, changing the color from yellow to British Racing . Showing 72,435 believed-original miles, the car has been cosmetically and mechanically maintained and stored in an air-conditioned and heated dian garage.

Jaguar’s legendary E-type has been called the “most beautiful car ever built,” and went through ongoing improvements through three series built between 1961-’74. The 1971-’74 ies 3 was larger, with a Jaguar V12 engine designed by F1 engineers and body revisions that were required by the newest U.S. safety regulations but managed to reflect the beefier character of the V12 drivetrain. The ies 3 represented the evolution of the E-type into a Touring automobile.
