This 1960 Chevrolet Corvette was acquired by the seller in 2011 and subsequently fitted with a 350ci V8. It is refinished in red over red vinyl and is equipped with a four-speed manual transmission, a matching removable hardtop, a white convertible soft top, 15″ steel wheels, a Wonder Bar AM radio, and a dash-mounted rearview mirror. This C1 is now offered with spare parts, a spare engine assembly, and a clean Washington title in the seller’s name. The car is refinished in red with white coves under previous ownership. Exterior equipment includes a red removable hardtop, a white convertible soft top, quadruple headlights, split chrome bumpers, fender vents, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller notes damage to one of the soft top snaps near the driver’s side door. The 15″ steel wheels feature spinner-style covers and are mounted with 215/75 Coker Classic whitewall tires. The car came equipped from the factory with an independent front suspension and semi-elliptical rear leaf springs. The seller states that the brake master cylinder was replaced in 2019 along with additional brake system components. The cabin features two bucket seats trimmed in red vinyl along with a color-coordinated dashboard topper, carpets, and door panels. Equipment includes and a dash-mounted rearview mirror, an analog clock, a floor shifter, a Wonder Bar AM radio, and lap belts. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a sweeping 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, battery charge, and oil pressure. The seller states the speedometer needle wobbles. The five-digit odometer shows 19k miles, approximately 1,500 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The 350ci V8 crate engine is said to have been installed in 2011. The air intake hose has a rip in it. A spare engine assembly is included in the sale and shown in the gallery below. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The Washington State title carries a Classic brand. Filed under: c1
