This Ferrari 365 GTS/4 Daytona Spyder replica was built using a McBurnie Coachcraft kit mounted on a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette chassis and was acquired by the seller in 2016. The fiberglass bodywork is finished in red, and power is from a 350ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission. The interior features Daytona-style bucket seats trimmed in tan vinyl with black accents as well as a Grant steering wheel, AutoMeter instrumentation, and a Pioneer head unit connected to Polk Audio speakers. Further equipment includes a black soft top, retractable headlamp covers, 15″ American Racing wheels, Bilstein shocks, and an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold along with a custom exhaust system with ANSA-style quad outlets. Work since 2022 has involved installing custom seat mounts in addition to replacing the speedometer, power steering pump, thermostat, spark plugs, and ignition wires. This Daytona replica is now offered with a McBurnie Coachcraft owner’s manual, partial service records, a canvas top boot, spare parts, and a clean California title in the seller’s name. The fiberglass bodywork is finished in red and mounted to a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette chassis. Exterior features include Ferrari badging as well as a black soft top, a vented hood, retractable headlamp covers, dual side mirrors, and split polished-aluminum bumpers with rubber nerf strips. Stone chips are visible on the nose of the car. Polished 15″ American Racing wheels are mounted with 215/65 front and 225/60 rear General Altimax tires. The car is equipped with power steering and rides on Bilstein shocks. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs. The power steering pump was replaced in November 2022, and the rear sway bar end links were replaced in July 2023. The left-rear center cap is missing. The Daytona-style seats and door panels are trimmed in tan vinyl with black accents. The dash is wrapped in black leather, and a Pioneer head unit is connected to Polk Audio speakers in the doors. Further appointments include lap belts, black carpets, and power windows. Custom seat mounts were installed in November 2022, and the window regulators were replaced in July 2023. The four-spoke Grant steering wheel wears a prancing horse horn button and frames AutoMeter Phantom instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The speedometer was replaced in July 2023, and the voltage meter and fuel level gauge work intermittently. The five-digit odometer is said to have been reset upon installation and now shows 65 miles. Approximately 500 miles are said to have been added under current ownership, and true mileage is unknown. The 350ci V8 has been fitted with an aftermarket polished intake as well as an Edelbrock carburetor and Performer intake manifold. A November 2022 tune-up involved adjusting the carburetor and replacing the distributor cap and rotor as well as the thermostat, spark plugs, and ignition wires. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. The car is equipped with a custom exhaust system with ANSA-style quad outlets. The seller notes leaks from the front crankshaft, transmission output shaft, and pinion seals. The chassis tag is partially illegible. The VIN listed on the current California title—194679S718799—is consistent with a 1969 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. Filed under: c3, ferrari 365 gts/4 daytona spyder, ferrari daytona spyder
