This 1967 Fiat-Abarth 1000 OT Spider is said to have been acquired new by the current owner’s father and is finished in red over black upholstery. The car is powered by a 1.0-liter inline-four mated to a four-speed manual transaxle, and additional equipment includes a black soft top, 13″ steel wheels with covers, independent suspension, Carello headlight covers, a vented decklid, and a single carburetor. Service performed in preparation for the sale involved bleeding the brakes and changing the oil. Now showing 5k miles, this 1000 OT Spider is offered at no reserve on dealer consignment in Arizona with manufacturer’s literature, a tool kit, and a clean California title. Development of the Abarth-engineered OT Series was based on the Fiat 850 platform and began in the early 1960s, with the production 850 OT Berlina debuting in 1964. The 1000 OT Coupe and Spider were subsequently introduced with increased specifications and produced through the late 1960s. This example’s Bertone bodywork is finished in red and features a black convertible soft top. Silver-finished 13″ steel wheels wear polished Abarth-branded covers and are mounted with 175/70 Pirelli P400 touring tires, while a matching spare is stored in the front trunk compartment. The brake system was bled in preparation for the sale.
