This 1969 Mercedes-Benz 280SE cabriolet .Additional equipment includes a brown soft top, 14″ steel wheels with painted centers, disc brakes, a stainless-steel exhaust system, and dual side mirrors in addition to power windows, a rear window defroster, air conditioning, a floor-mounted shifter, a Becker AM/FM radio, and a Bluetooth module.

Finished from the factory in Horizon Blue, the body was disassembled, stripped, and repainted in its current shade of Light Ivory by Empire Auto in Temecula. The brightwork was re-chromed and a replacement soft top, seals, molding, and weatherstripping were also fitted at that time. Exterior features include a top boot, front vent windows, fog lights, dual side mirrors, and chrome bumpers. Steel 14″ wheels feature color-matched centers and are mounted with GT Radial Champiro 75 white-stripe tires. The suspension includes an independent double-wishbone front setup with coil springs along with a rear single-joint swing axle with hydropneumatic compensating spring and level control.

The individual front seats and rear bench were fitted with replacement pads and reupholstered in Cognac leather during the 2018 refurbishment process. The wood trim was also refinished, the air conditioning was overhauled and converted to R134a refrigerant, and the carpets, door pads, and kick panels were replaced. Appointments include three-point seat belts for the front occupants, power windows, a floor-mounted shifter, a dashboard-mounted clock, a rear window defroster, air conditioning, a Becker AM/FM radio, and a Bluetooth module. The two-spoke steering wheel features a chrome horn ring and fronts a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 14k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The 2.8-liter M130 inline-six features Bosch mechanical fuel injection and was factory rated at 160 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. It was rebuilt in May 2022 by Metric Motors in Canoga Park, California. At that time the fuel injection pump was rebuilt and the camshaft, crankshaft, oil pump, valves, lifters, pistons, piston rings, bearings, gaskets, and timing chains and rails were replaced.
