This 1999 Shelby Series 1 is #60 of 249 examples produced by Shelby American. The composite bodywork is finished in silver with blue stripes over black and gray leather upholstery, and power comes from an Oldsmobile-sourced quad-cam 4.0L V8 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. The car spent time in New Jersey before being imported to Canada in 2021, and it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2023. The Series 1 was designed by Shelby American and was manufactured at the company’s facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes. The cockpit houses bucket seats trimmed in black leather with gray inserts and Carroll Shelby’s signature embroidered on the backrests. Factory-rated output was 320 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle made by RBT Transmissions with ZF components. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in New Jersey, Alberta, and British Columbia beginning with the initial entry in June 2014. This car does not have a title, as it is registered in a country that does not issue titles for vehicles. It is being sold on its British Columbia provincial registration.
