This 1967 Oldsmobile 442 convertible was purchased by the current owner’s father in 2007 and was subsequently refurbished and later inherited by the current owner in 2022. Work since 2008 consisted of repainting the body, rebuilding the engine, retrimming the interior, and replacing the convertible top. The car is finished in red over black vinyl upholstery, and power is provided by a 400ci V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power-operated white convertible top, a power antenna, power steering, power front disc brakes, rally-style 14″ wheels, Climatic Combustion Control, MagnaFlow mufflers, and a center console. This 442 convertible is now offered on dealer consignment with a parade boot and a New Jersey title. The car left the factory finished in Burgundy Mist (N) and is said to have been repainted around 2016. Details include a power-operated replacement white convertible top as well as a power antenna, hood vents, chrome bumpers, bright moldings and rocker panels, quad headlamps, stacked taillamps, dual side mirrors, tri-color 442 badges, and polished exhaust finishers. A black convertible-top parade boot will accompany the vehicle. Rally-style 14″ wheels wear polished trim rings and are mounted with 215/70 General Altimax RT45 tires that were installed in 2023. An older Dunlop bias-ply spare is located in the trunk. The car is equipped with power steering and Monroe shock absorbers, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench reupholstered in black vinyl complemented by a color-coordinated dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpeting. Equipment includes a heater, a driver-side remote mirror control, front vent windows, lap belts for all occupants, and trunk-mounted speakers. The radio does not work. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer with perimeter auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 82k miles, approximately 15k of which have been added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown. The 400ci V8 is said to have been rebuilt in 2008 and was factory rated at 350 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque. Features include a four-barrel carburetor and a Climatic Combustion Control air-intake system. An oil change was performed in 2023. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Hydra-Matic three-speed automatic transmission and a 10-bolt rear axle. A dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers has been installed. The trim tag indicates that the vehicle was originally manufactured with a four-speed manual transmission. The Fisher body tag decodes as follows: 11E – Built during the fifth week of November 67-33867 – 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme convertible LAN2506 – Lansing, Michigan factory; serial-number sequence 970-B – Black interior trim with Strato bucket front seats N-1 – Burgundy Mist exterior finish, white convertible top W – Tinted windshield 2LG – Four-speed floor shifter, sports console 4F – Remote-adjustable driver-side mirror 5V – 442 trim
