This 1939 Ford Deluxe convertible sedan is finished in beige over brown upholstery and is powered by a 221ci flathead V8 mated to a three-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a dark brown soft top, a split windshield, and red 16″ steel wheels with whitewall tires in addition to a faux wood metal finish dashboard, an analog clock, a heater, and a push-button radio. The car is said to have undergone a refurbishment before it was acquired by the current owner in 2018. This Deluxe convertible sedan is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean California title. The body was repainted in beige under prior ownership and features bright trim on the grille, side moldings, and light surrounds. Additional exterior details include a dark brown soft top edged in red, a split windshield, running boards, and chrome bumpers with overriders. The soft top mechanism was repaired in preparation for the sale. Red-painted 16″ steel wheels wear V8-stamped chrome hubcaps and whitewall tires. Equipment includes four-wheel drum brakes in addition to transverse front and rear leaf springs. The front and rear bench seats are covered in brown upholstery that extends to the door panels. Interior appointments include a floor-mounted shifter, a heater, three ashtrays, a rubber floor covering up front, and a push-button AM radio with a louvered speaker. Scratches can be seen on the faux wood metal finish dashboard below the analog clock. The banjo-style steering wheel features a leather-wrapped rim that shows wear, and it frames a 100-mph speedometer in addition to a combination gauge with readouts for fuel level, oil pressure, battery charging status, and engine temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 51k miles, approximately 20 of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The 221ci flathead V8 is finished in blue and equipped with a single downdraft carburetor topped with an oil-bath air cleaner. The engine is in need of a tune-up. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed manual transmission. Additional underside images are provided in the gallery below. The car has been assigned identification number 185186571 by the state of Florida, which corresponds with the VIN shown on the current California title.
