This 1969 Oldsmobile 442 convertible was refurbished in Arizona under previous ownership prior to 2008, and it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2012. The car is finished in black over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 400ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission and a rear axle with 3.42:1 gears. Equipment includes a power-operated black soft top, red pinstripes, dual exhaust outlets, Super Stock II 15″ wheels, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, air conditioning, power windows, a center console, a tilting steering column, front bucket seats, an AM/FM stereo, and an eight-track player. This 442 convertible is now offered with a spare wheel set, an Oldsmobile tape cartridge, and a New Jersey title. Finished from the factory in Ebony Black (10), the car was repainted black with red pinstripes during the aforementioned refurbishment. Features include a power-operated black vinyl convertible top, quadruple headlights, 442 badging, dual side mirrors, chrome bumpers and wheel-arch moldings, and dual-outlet exhaust tips. Super Stock II 15″ wheels wear Oldsmobile center caps and are mounted with 225/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. A 14″ spare wheel with a Firestone tire is stowed in the trunk. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl complemented by a coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Equipment includes air conditioning, a center console, woodgrain trim, power windows, a lockable glovebox, headrests, lap belts, a push-button AM/FM stereo, and an Oldsmobile-branded eight-track tape player. The wood-rimmed steering wheel is attached to a tilting column and frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an inset clock, and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 125 miles, which is said to represent the distance added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The 400ci V8 breathes through a four-barrel carburetor and features an orange-painted block, cylinder heads, intake manifold, and valve covers. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Muncie four-speed manual transmission and a rear axle with 3.42:1 gears. The trim tag decodes as follows: 69 33667 – 1969 Oldsmobile two-door convertible LAN 364928 – Lansing, Michigan assembly plant; build number 930 – Black vinyl upholstery with front bucket seats 10 B – Ebony Black paint with black convertible top 04D – Built during the fourth week of April A set of 14″ Super Stock III wheels mounted with Firestone white-letter tires is included in the sale. The New Jersey title is listed as a replacement.
