1970 Pontiac Tempest LeMans convertible orange

This 1970 Pontiac LeMans Sport convertible, . The car was acquired by the seller in 2021 and further modified with a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 linked to a 4L65E four-speed automatic transmission and a 9″ Currie limited-slip rear axle with 3.73:1 gears.

This modified LeMans convertible is now offered with receipts for work performed under current ownership, a parade boot, a car cover, and an Arkansas title. The seller reports that the body was removed from the frame, repainted in Orbit Orange, and mounted to a replacement powder-coated Schwartz Performance chassis during the aforementioned refurbishment. Exterior details include a power-operated Sandalwood soft top, a parade boot, a GTO-style front fascia, a chrome-finished rear bumper, hood scoops, fog lights, a left-side mirror, tri-color bodyside graphics, “The Judge” fender and trunk decals, a rear wing, and quad exhaust outlets. The car is equipped with Flaming River rack-and-pinion steering with Gottashow stainless steel braided lines as well as Ridetech coilovers at each corner. Braking is provided by four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes over slotted rotors, and an 8″ dual-diaphragm brake booster with a Wilwood master cylinder was installed. The interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in sandalwood vinyl. Sound-deadening material is said to have been applied under the replacement carpets. A Vintage Air climate control system was installed, and the armrests and door entry sill plates were replaced under current ownership. Equipment includes an American Auto Wire wiring harness, The Judge-branded floor mats, a JVC head unit, kick panel-mounted speakers, and a trunk-mounted 10″ subwoofer. The Optima battery has been relocated to the trunk. An additional tachometer is mounted to the hood. The digital odometer indicates 3k miles, all of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The 6.2-liter LS3 V8 was installed in August 2023 and is equipped with a Billet Specialties front runner kit, a Spectre air intake system, and ceramic-coated exhaust manifolds.  Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4L65E four-speed automatic transmission and a Currie 9″ limited-slip rear axle with 3.73:1 gears. A dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers is installed along with Gottashow stainless steel braided transmission fluid cooling lines.
