This 1962 Lincoln Continental convertible is finished in blue over blue leather and is powered by a 430ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Other equipment includes a power-operated white soft top, wheel covers, whitewall tires, power steering, a power-adjustable front bench seat, power windows, vacuum-operated door locks, and an AM radio. The seller acquired the car out of Michigan in 2007. The generator and the voltage regulator reportedly were rebuilt in late 2023. This Continental is now offered in California with service records, an owner’s manual, spare keys, and a Montana title in the name of the seller’s LLC. The trim tag indicates that the car left the factory finished in Powder Blue (F), and the seller states that the vehicle was repainted and the white convertible top was replaced under prior ownership. Corrosion is noted at the bottom of both front fenders and both rocker panels. Steel 14″ wheels with polished Lincoln Continental covers are wrapped in BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires. The front suspension was rebuilt in 2011, according to the seller. The vehicle was originally equipped with blue leather upholstery (82). Appointments include vacuum-operated door locks, tilt steering, and an AM radio. The air conditioning does not work. Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 20k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.  The 430ci V8 was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque when new. The engine was rebuilt by Rex Hutchison Engines of Sacramento, California, in 2011. The generator and the voltage regulator are said to have been rebuilt in September 2023. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a dual-range three-speed automatic transmission that reportedly was rebuilt in 2011. Corrosion is noted on underbody components. The Montana title lists “Not Actual (69)/IN” in the Brand section.
