1975 Chevrolet Caprice

This 1975 Chevrolet Caprice convertible . It is finished in Dark Red Metallic over white vinyl upholstery and powered by a 350ci V8 that drives the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission. Riding on 15″ steel wheels with polished covers, the car was optioned with a white convertible soft top, power windows and locks, air conditioning, cruise control, and an AM/FM radio. This Caprice convertible shows 63k miles and is now offered at no reserve with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean Arizona title. The second-generation Caprice introduced a restyled front end with swept-back headlights and a revised grille for 1975, which was the final model year for the Caprice convertible. This example left the factory finished in Dark Red Metallic and features a white convertible soft top with a matching top boot. Additional exterior details include Deluxe chrome bumpers with black guards along with remote-adjustable “Sport” mirrors, rear fender skirts, and bright bodyside moldings. The car is believed to have been repainted and fitted with a replacement soft top circa 2010. The photos were taken in 2023. The 15″ steel wheels wear polished covers and are mounted with 225/75 Dominator All-Season narrow-whitewall tires. Power-assisted front disc brakes were included as standard equipment. The interior features two rows of bench seating upholstered in white vinyl that extends to the door panels. Red carpeting lines the floors and woodgrain trim accents the dash. A two-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a tilting column, and further amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, an AM/FM radio, and power-operated windows and locks. Instrumentation consists of a horizontal-sweep 100-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 63k miles. The 350ci V8 drives the rear wheels through a Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission. An oil change was carried out in preparation for the sale.
