This ’32 Ford roadster is a fiberglass-bodied highboy hot rod that was built in 2012 at Timeless Rods & Customs of Lula, Georgia. Power is provided by a 383ci Chevrolet V8 equipped with aluminum heads and dual four-barrel carburetors. The car is finished in two-tone red and silver and is also equipped with independent front suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, a four-speed automatic transmission, a Ford 9″ rear end, staggered-diameter Foose wheels, and a hideaway convertible top. The interior is upholstered in gray and red vinyl and features air conditioning, power windows, seatbelts, a tilt steering column, an Alpine touchscreen stereo, and a keyless entry and ignition system. Acquired by the seller in summer 2023, this Deuce highboy is now offered with build records, two keyless-entry fobs, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name that lists the car as a 1932 Ford. The fiberglass body is finished in two-tone Toreador Red metallic over silver metallic and rides on a modified tubular chassis. Features include a black canvas hideaway soft top, a side-hinged hood with louvered side panels, windshield-mounted side mirrors, rear fenders, and center-exit exhaust outlets as well as LED taillights, electric door poppers, and a power-operated trunk lid. Foose Legend cast alloy wheels measure 17″ up front and 20″ out back and are mounted with General G-Max AS-03 tires showing 2014 date codes. The build incorporates independent suspension and rack-and-pinion steering up front, and adjustable coilovers are mounted all around. Braking comes from power-assisted discs all around with polished Wilwood front calipers. The cockpit features gray vinyl upholstery with red trim and “Hat Trick 383 Deuce” embroidery on the upper seat back and red carpets. Amenities include Vintage Air climate control, power windows, hoop-style headrests, lap seatbelts, an RFID push-button start system, and an Alpine DVD/CD/navigation receiver with a 6.1″ touchscreen and eight speakers. An Alpine X-Power amplifier and a subwoofer box reside in the carpeted trunk. The driver-side window is noted to function intermittently. An Orbiter-style steering wheel is mounted atop a Flaming River tilting column. A billet dash panel insert houses a Classic Instruments All-American Series gauge set consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 700 miles, fewer than 200 of which were added by the seller. The 383ci Chevrolet stroker V8 was built at ATK High Performance Engines of Grand Prairie, Texas, and is equipped with dual 550cfm Edelbrock four-barrel carburetors topped by round open-element air cleaners with milled covers. The engine is also equipped with Dart aluminum cylinder heads, an Edelbrock intake manifold and fuel pump, an MSD electronic distributor, chrome valve covers, and ceramic-coated long-tube headers flowing into a custom rear-exit dual exhaust system. A June 2013 dyno test at ATK yielded maximum outputs of 452 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 479 lb-ft of torque at 4,200 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4L60E four-speed automatic overdrive transmission with a heavy-duty torque converter as well as a Ford 9″ rear end. The car is titled s a 1932 Ford in Florida using a New Hampshire state-assigned VIN.
