1958 Morgan Plus 4

This 1958 Morgan Plus 4 four-passenger roadster was sold new by Fergus Imported Cars of New York City. It is said to have remained under single ownership for over 40 years before changing hands in 2021 and being acquired by the selling dealer in 2024. Finished in black over red leather, the car is powered by a 1,991cc inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes a black soft top, 15″ wire wheels, a rear-mounted spare, fender-mounted side mirrors, fog lights, seatbelts, removable side curtains, a heater, and chrome bumpers. This Plus 4 is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean Pennsylvania title. The car was repainted black approximately 25 years ago, with more recent paintwork noted on the rear fenders. The banjo-style steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation including a 6k-rpm tachometer, a 110-mph speedometer, and a combination gauge for oil pressure, fuel level, coolant temperature, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 70k miles, approximately 50 of which were added under current ownership. The coolant temperature gauge was repaired in preparation for the sale. The Triumph-sourced 1,991cc inline-four is fitted with dual Zenith carburetors and was factory rated at 100 horsepower. A tune-up is said to have been performed in 2023.
