1991 BMW E30 M3

This 1991 BMW M3 was modified as a track car by 425 Motorsports of Bellevue, Washington between 2014 and 2015, including the installation of a fiberglass roof and a roll cage, along with a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six and six-speed manual transmission. The car was repainted orange and fitted with Evo-style front and rear spoilers, removable Lexan windows, Euro-style “smiley” headlights, and a single windshield wiper. A StopTech Trophy Sport big brake kit, Moton coilover suspension, Ireland Engineering sway bars, and three-piece 17″ BBS wheels were also added, in addition to a carbon-fiber air intake, an aluminum radiator, and a custom exhaust system. The race-prepped interior features dual OMP HTE-R racing seats equipped with Racetech six-point harnesses as well as a CAE Shifting Technology Ultra Shifter, a Sparco steering wheel, an AiM Sports MX Series dash logger, and a fire suppression system. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2024, this E30 M3 track car is now offered with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Washington title. The car was stripped to bare metal, the front and rear wheel arches were welded, the shock towers reinforced, and a fiberglass roof was installed before being refinished in the Lamborghini shade of Arancio Borealis under previous ownership. It was fitted with an Evo-style front lip with a carbon-fiber splitter and rear spoiler with a carbon-fiber gurney flap as well as removable Lexan side and rear windows, a single windshield wiper, and aftermarket Euro-style “smiley” headlights. Three-piece 17″ BBS E87 wheels are mounted with Nitto NT01 tires measuring 205/40 up front and 235/40 out back and showing 2014 and 2015 date codes, respectively. They are installed with BBS 5mm spacers, and stopping power is provided by a StopTech Trophy Sport big brake kit with slotted rotors at all four corners and cooling ducts in the front. The car is equipped with power steering as well as a Moton coilover suspension with remote-mounted reservoirs and Ireland Engineering front and rear sway bars and adjustable end links. BimmerWorld front hub assemblies, rear wheel bearings, 82mm wheel studs, mounts, and bushings are also installed. The interior was stripped and repainted gray and fitted with a body-color roll cage along with black cloth OMP HTE-R racing seats mounted to Planted Technology brackets and fitted with Racetech six-point harnesses with TRS quick-release buckles. Additional appointments include a CAE Shifting Technology Ultra Shifter, a Longacre 17″ wide-angle rearview mirror, a fire suppression system, black door cards and rear panels, and textured front floor coverings. The HVAC system and stereo have been removed, and a custom switch panel with lights, fuses, and switches for vehicle functions resides in the center stack. The dashboard was cut to accommodate the roll cage. The Sparco steering wheel frames an AiM Sports MX Series dash logger linked with a GPS 08 module. The digital display supplies an odometer reading of 1,200 miles, though the total chassis mileage is unknown. The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six and six-speed manual transmission were reportedly sourced from a 2006 M3 and installed around 2012 with BimmerWorld solid mounts and rear axle shafts. A carbon-fiber intake with an open-element filter has been added along with an aluminum radiator and a B&M SuperCooler transmission cooler. The selling dealer notes that the car has been sitting for some time and should be inspected and serviced prior to use.
