This 1970 Porsche 911T has been fitted with a 3.0-liter flat-six and a 915 five-speed manual gearbox as well as fiberglass body panels and Lexan windows. The cabin houses a roll bar, fixed-back GT Classics seats, Schroth harnesses, Heuer chronographs, and a Halda SpeedPilot. Suspension modifications include aluminum trailing arms, Bilstein shocks, and front and rear strut tower braces. The owner purchased the car in 2018 and has since used it in road rallies and driving events. It is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Tennessee title. The car was modified before the owner’s 2018 acquisition. Work reportedly included rust repair in the front floor and under the rear seats and rear parcel shelf. A fiberglass hood, rear decklid, bumpers, doors, front fenders, and rear quarters were installed along with 911R-style taillights, Cibie hood lights, and Lexan rear and side windows. Close-up photos of the body panel and window fit can be found in the gallery. The 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin TB15 racing tires. Suspension modifications include Koni dampers, aluminum trailing arms, and welded shock tower braces. The cockpit houses a roll bar, GTS Classics RSR seats, Schroth harnesses, a pair of Heuer timers, and a Halda SpeedPilot. Slide-up side windows, a leather dash cover, R-style door panels, and a Tarrett Engineering shift coupler have also been installed. A 250-km/h speedometer and a 10k-rpm tachometer have been installed. The five-digit odometer shows 10 miles, though the owner has reportedly driven the car around 2k miles. The selling dealer notes that the 3.0-liter flat-six was sourced from a 1979 911SC and installed in 2021. The Weber IDA carburetors are also said to have been rebuilt at that time. Equipment includes an MSD ignition, Carrera chain tensioners, tubular headers, a 911R-style muffler, and a raw fiberglass fan shroud. Service in 2023 reportedly included adjusting the valves, adjusting the clutch, changing the oil, and replacing the alternator, valve cover gaskets, batteries, battery cables, spark plugs, and plug wires. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed 915 manual transaxle. The selling dealer notes some oil seepage from the engine. Filed under: 911, 911 t, long hood, longhood
