This 1970 Fiat 500F spent time in Sicily and was refurbished and converted to look like a Jolly model after its acquisition by the selling dealer in January 2022. The car was refinished in green and fitted with replacement body panels, wicker seating, and a Jolly-style surrey top. Additional work performed at that time included an overhaul of the electrical system, the drum brakes, and the suspension. Power is supplied by a 650cc twin paired with a synchronized four-speed manual transaxle, and additional features consist of side mirrors, safety ropes, and 12″ steel wheels with chrome covers. This Fiat 500 is now offered by the selling dealer in Palermo, Italy, with free container shipping to the port of New York City or Los Angeles, photos from the refurbishment, and an Italian registration document. The body was modified under current ownership in the style of a Jolly model and received a bare-metal repaint in its current shade of green following rust repairs and the installation of a replacement inner valance, battery tray, hood, rear engine support panel, front fascia, fenders, wheel arches, A-pillars, rear quarter panels, rocker panels, and floor pans. A beige and white surrey top with tan fringe was installed at that time, along with a tinted windshield, tubular chrome trim, and replacement weatherstripping, bumpers, brightwork, and Nuova 500 badging. Beige 12″ steel wheels feature bright hubcaps, and the tires are fitted with whitewall inserts. The suspension and four-wheel drum brakes were overhauled during the build. The interior features wicker front bucket seats that were installed during the refurbishment along with a matching rear bench and orange carpeting. Additional interior equipment includes a body-color dash, a grab handle for the front passenger, and safety ropes along the sides. An ivory-painted two-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a replacement Veglia 120-km/h speedometer. The five-digit odometer indicates 1 kilometer, and total mileage is unknown. The replacement air-cooled inline-twin reportedly displaces 650cc and was installed during current ownership. The engine was painted to match the exterior, and the electrical wiring was replaced. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a synchronized four-speed manual transaxle. Additional photos of the underbody are provided in the gallery. Photos showing the car at various stages of the refurbishment process are viewable in the gallery. Current and historical Italian registration documents are included in the sale.
