This Alfa Romeo A12 is a chassis cab model that was acquired by the current owner in 2018 and subsequently refurbished and modified. Work involved refinishing the body, installing a car hauler platform, refreshing the interior, and overhauling the drivetrain, suspension, and brakes. The truck is finished in blue with a white top over black vinyl upholstery, and power is from a replacement 1,600cc inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. This A12 is offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the current owner in Greece with a $4,000 shipping allowance, an Alfa Romeo Classiche Certificate of Origin, manufacturer’s literature, and Greek registration in the owner’s name listing the vehicle as a 1970 model year. The cab was separated from the frame, stripped to bare metal, fitted with repair panels, and refinished in blue with a white top under current ownership. Additional work involved fabricating a zinc-plated car hauler platform that was subsequently mounted to the truck. Exterior details include towing mirrors, polished door handles, turn signals, Scuderia Piccolino door decals, and vehicle ramps that stow within the platform. White steel wheels wear Alfa Romeo-branded hubcaps and are wrapped in Kumho Cargomate tires. Stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums, and the suspension and brakes were overhauled under current ownership. The left-hand-drive cab was refreshed under current ownership and features seats reupholstered in black vinyl with white piping as well as a black dashboard, door panels, and floor mats. Equipment includes vent windows, a heater, a beige perforated headliner, and sun visors. The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of ahead Jaeger instrumentation consisting of a 120-km/h speedometer, a fuel gauge, and warning lights.
