This 1962 derbird Sports dster convertible reportedly has its original Z-code 390 four-barrel V8 and e-O- c three-speed automatic transmission. The Sports dster used a fiberglass tonneau cover that hid the rear seat and provided headrests for front-seat passengers, giving the car the look of a two-seater. The seller says this is one of 1,427 Sports dsters built in 1962. The car is Rangoon d, code J, like many of the 1962 Sports dsters and it has a black vinyl interior (code 56). The engine has been upgraded with fuel injection and aluminum cylinder heads.
