1969 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible 5-Speed C3

This 1969 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was the subject of a modification process that began under prior ownership and continued following the current owner’s 2015 acquisition. Power is provided by a 388ci stroker V8 that is backed by a five-speed manual transmission, and the car rides on Forgeline wheels, composite monospring suspension, and Bilstein dampers. The Budnik steering wheel is mounted on a telescopic column and frames AutoMeter instrumentation, including a 10k-rpm tachometer. Auxiliary readouts are housed in the center stack. The seller notes that the V8 was modified circa 2010 to displace 388ci and fitted with a March Performance pulley system, a Be Cool radiator, MSD ignition, and a K&N open-element air filter. The serial number 194679S723173 on the car is shown above, and the current Connecticut registration lists the VIN as 1946795723173, with a “5” in place of the “S” for the seventh digit. The car does not have a title as it is registered in a state that does not issue titles for a vehicle of its age.
