1957 Chevrolet 150
This car is one of the best examples of a Black Widow that exist. This build has been meticulous, with period fasteners throughout and was frame off restored. x thread and adel clamps- you won’t find any zip ties
This car was on the track for many years. When my dad acquired it from a back yard in Georgia it the rear quarter panels had an inch of bondo on them! So rear quarters, door skins, and front fenders are new. New quarter panel seams are leaded into body, not bondo.
This car is currently in race car show trim. So no headlights, turn signals, horn. I squirt it around the block here and there, but not meant to be a daily driver.
e a look at the photos and compare to any other Black Widow representation out there, and you will see how legit this car is. The viewing ports for the right side tires are original, so this car spent some time on the big ovals. The original hand made radiator with the oversize tanks simply does not exist anywhere else. 2 shocks on every corner. 6 stud front spindles. 6 stud differential. Exhaust THROUGH the frame, not under it. The roll cage that looks like it was built in a barn probably WAS built in a barn and is original.
Lots of spares included in sale. Another completely rebuilt 3-speed transmission, recently sourced final trim for windshield and back window, headliner bows, original 1957 Chevrolet Black Widow build instructions, and lots of crates of 1957 goodies
Can provide videos upon request. I won’t be near the car until the end of the month.
