1965 Buick Rivierags Arctic White GS Coupe

After a couple of auspicious years as a ground-breaking personal coupe, the 1965 Buick Riviera took it up a notch with a dramatic styling update that repositioned the headlights vertically and moved them behind clamshell-style doors. It was also the first year for the GS luxury-performance model. That’s what’s offered here: A 1965 Buick Riviera GS with its original Super Wildcat V8, featuring twin four-barrel carburetors. It is one of 3,354 produced for the year and the car has been “nicely restored,” according to the selling dealer, who adds it is in “excellent” overall condition. 

• The Super Wildcat 425-cu.in. OHV V8 was originally rated at 360 hp and Buick Riviera GS is one of 3,354 produced.
• It has been restored and appears in stock condition.
• Under the hood is the reported original 425-cu.in. Super Wildcat V8 with 2×4 induction.
• The original Artic White was resprayed, but the passenger’s door has a paint-match issue.
• The black vinyl interior, with bucket seats, a console and air conditioning, appears in good shape.

The selling dealer states that it will provide a clean and open Pennsylvania title for the proper transfer of ownership for this vehicle. With only 3,354 produced, this 1965 Buick Riviera GS remains a relatively rare sight. This restored example is said by the seller to be in “excellent” overall condition, showing light wear.
