1928 Ford A

This 1928 Ford Model A is a five-window coupe that is said to have been refurbished under prior ownership approximately a decade ago. The car is finished in black over brown upholstery and is powered by a 201ci L-head inline-four paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a rumble seat,  21″ wire-spoke wheels, a tilt-out windshield, running boards, and a spare tire. This Model A was recently acquired by the selling dealer and is now offered with refurbishment photos and records, a tool roll, and a clean Iowa title. The exterior was refinished in black during the refurbishment and is said to have been fitted with replacement wood components. Features include a black vinyl roof panel, a fold-out rumble seat, a tilt-out windshield, a horn, and running boards as well as a chrome radiator surround, radiator ornament, bumpers, and headlight buckets. The 21″ wire-spoke wheels are finished in light yellow and wear period-style 4.40/4.50-21 Firestone whitewall tires. A covered spare resides aft of the rumble seat. Braking is provided by four-wheel drums. The cabin features a bench upholstered in brown cloth while the rumble seat is upholstered in brown vinyl. Interior appointments include door pockets, electric wiper controls, a horn, and a rear parcel shelf. The four-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a central instrument cluster housing a barrel-type speedometer, an ammeter, and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 310 miles, approximately 5 of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The 201ci L-head inline-four is said to have been refurbished and is equipped with a single updraft carburetor. Factory-rated output was 40 horsepower and 128 lb-ft of torque.
