no beautiful Packards were harmed in building this car!the car started out as what should have been a parts car. the standard eight engine was completely rebuilt with all new poured babbitt bearings, new pistons and new stainless valves. a 1955 chevy distributor with pertronix ignition was used. the car is 12 volt with a delco alternator. the custom intake and exhaust includes 2 ford holley carbs. the radiator is completely new and the louvers work as they should. the transmission has been rebuilt with all new bearings, behind the trans is a US gear inline overdrive. The rear axle was also rebuilt with new bearing ans is a 4.69 ratio. Everything in the chassis has been rebuilt or reconditioned including the original mechanical brakes. In fact, the chassis could be rebodied as an original car. The body has been professionally restored and was channeled 4.5 inches over the frame, this includes all new [ ct Seller] headlights are from a 32 hudson eight, the taillights are early dodge brothers. the cloth top is removable, the wood dash is custom with classic industries gauges. Custom cloth interior throughout. this car rides and drives like a 1929 Packard on sior Stahl Sport radial tires, 700/20 on the rear, 600/20 fronts. the split rim wheel were converted to drop centers for safety. this car was featured on My Classic Car, May 8th 2020 and featured in OL Skool rodz magazine January 2017
