The seller of this 1950 B2C 3/4-Ton Pickup with an 8-foot bed and the five-window “Pilot use” cab found it online in Connecticut but says the truck came from state. He says the truck is original except for the radial tires and chrome wheels. The truck has passed the sachusetts state inspection.
The 218-cu.in. L-head inline-six engine was rated by at 95 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque when new. The seller says the engine has been rebuilt but details of the work performed and the mileage since it was done are unknown. Modern electronic ignition was added to the engine. The seller also isn’t sure if the engine is original to the truck. The truck has a floor starter button that, with the manual choke, is used to start it. The seller reports no smoke on startup and only a little weeping from the engine, transmission, and rear axle. Shifting for the four-speed manual transmission is “all good,” in the seller’s opinion.
The seller says this five-window pickup has “no rust” and was repainted blue and cream “a few years ago,” with no blemishes or swirls. The glass and seals are “all good,” in his opinion, and all the lights work. The oak bed planks are new, per the seller, who adds that the spotlight is an original item.
The functionality and condition of the interior components are all “good,” according to the seller. The dashboard was painted two-tone to match the exterior, and the cream vinyl bench seat is equipped with turquoise-colored seatbelts, carrying on the theme. The gauges work but the seller added aftermarket temp and oil gauges for accuracy. The radio is the original AM unit and the heater works. The rubber floormats are in good condition, per the seller.
The seller reports no play in the steering and adds that all suspension components are in good condition. Suspension service history is unknown, but the brakes “function properly.” Chrome wheels were added to the truck and wear P225/70R15 nkook whitewall tires with 2014 DOT codes.
The seller states that this vehicle will be sold on a clean sachusetts title in his name. This 1950 B2C 3/4-Ton Pickup comes with receipts. The seller says he has too many antique vehicles, so this truck is available.
