1950 Plymouth Deluxe/Special Deluxe

This 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe station wagon is powered by a 218ci flathead inline-six paired with a three-speed manual transmission and is finished in tan over brown. Features include a chrome grille and bumpers, fog lamps, a water bag, a CarPac roof luggage rack with a surfboard, full wheel covers, a tailgate mounted spare wheel carrier, a push-button radio, wind-up analog clock, BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires, a wood dash, and exterior wood paneling. The car was acquired by the selling dealer in 2019. This Special Deluxe Station Wagon is offered in North Carolina with manufacturer’s literature, sales folder, a Mopar accessory guide, and a clean Arizona title. The station wagon is said to have been refinished in tan under previous ownership and features wrap-around wood paneling, a CarPac luggage roof rack, and a mounted surfboard. Features include a chrome grille and bumpers, brightwork trim, rockers, rock guards, fog lamps, a water bag, a body-colored rear tailgate with spare wheel carrier, and a cowl-mounted spotlight. The 15″ steel wheels wear chrome Plymouth hubcaps and BFGoodrich Silvertown bias-ply whitewall tires. Braking is handled by hydraulic four-wheel drums. The cabin features three rows of bench seats trimmed in brown vinyl and a stained-wood dashboard door trim panels, sills, and pillars. Additional interior appointments include a push-button radio, wind-up analog clock, a heater, wind wings, fresh air floor vents, and rubber floor mats. The three-spoke steering wheel with a horn ring frames a 100-mph speedometer and two combination gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 86k miles, less than 100 of which have been added by the selling dealer. The 218ci flathead inline-six was factory rated at 97 horsepower.
