This 1957 Oldsmobile Super 88 Fiesta hardtop wagon was acquired in California by the seller in 1995 and subsequently was modified with installation of a 455ci V8 linked to a 200-4R four-speed automatic transmission. Finished in yellow and white over gray and white leather upholstery, the car also features a custom grille, shaved rear door handles and side trim, through-bumper dual tailpipes, front disc brakes, chrome five-spoke 17″ wheels, a 1958 Pontiac dashboard, Vintage Air climate control, power windows, 1992 Chrysler front seats, a custom center console, lap belts, and AutoMeter gauges. This modified Fiesta wagon is now offered with refurbishment photos, service records, and a California title in the seller’s name. The car was refinished in its current combination of yellow and white with a ceramic clearcoat under current ownership. The rear door handles and the side trim have been shaved, and a custom flat-bar grille covers hidden turn signals. The vehicle also has been modified with 1955 Oldsmobile headlights, a cowl-induction hood, and pinstriped accents on the hood and tailgate. Other equipment includes chrome bumpers, chrome roof ribs, dual side mirrors, and a hood ornament. The rear bumper has integrated vertical rectangular openings for the tailpipes. The car lacks windshield-wiper arms, although the seller states they are included in the sale. Polished Rocket Racing 17″ wheels are mounted with 225/50 front and 235/50 rear GT Radial Champiro tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The cabin features power-adjustable front bucket seats that are said to have been sourced from a 1992 Chrysler. The front seats and the fold-down rear bench are trimmed in gray leather upholstery with white stripes and perforated inserts, as are the door panels. The dashboard came from a 1958 Pontiac, and the custom center console houses controls for the Boss audio and Vintage Air climate-control systems, cupholders, power-window switches, and a padded armrest as well as 1957 Oldsmobile–style taillight components. The two-tone steering wheel is smaller than the factory piece and has a horn ring. AutoMeter instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, an inset 8k-rpm tachometer, and a combination gauge for fuel level, oil pressure, voltage, and water temperature. The digital odometer indicates approximately 1,600 miles, which is said to reflect the distance accumulated under current ownership; true mileage is unknown. The 455ci Oldsmobile V8 was installed under current ownership and is equipped with a Holley Demon four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, an HEI distributor, and an aluminum radiator. A vintage Craftsman paint gun has been repurposed for use as the coolant-overflow tank. The black air-cleaner cover bears custom pinstriping, as does a black trim piece positioned above the radiator support. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 200-4R four-speed automatic transmission. Refurbishment records and photos will accompany the vehicle. The California title is listed as a duplicate.
