This 1959 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider is powered by a 1.3L twin-cam inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission and is finished in red over black vinyl upholstery. Features include a single Solex carburetor, a black convertible soft top, 15″ steel wheels, four-wheel drum brakes, a luggage rack, and a Moto-Lita steering wheel. The car was refurbished under prior ownership and was acquired by the selling dealer in January 2023. Work performed in 2023 involved fluid changes, rebuilding the brake master cylinder, repairing the fuel sending unit, and adjusting the brakes, trunk latch, and lights. This Giulietta is now offered by the selling dealer with partial service records dating back to 1997 and a clean California title. The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in red and was repainted under prior ownership, at which time a replacement black soft top was installed, the chrome bumpers and brightwork were reportedly replaced, and dual side mirrors and a trunk-mounted luggage rack were installed. The selling dealer reports that the trunk latch and exterior lights were adjusted in February 2023. Some of the gallery photos were taken in February 2023. Silver-finished 15″ Fergat steel wheels with polished hubcaps are mounted with 165-series Vredestein Sprint Classic tires, and a full-size spare is housed behind the seats. Braking is handled by finned aluminum drum brakes at all four corners, and a brake fluid flush was performed, the brake master cylinder was rebuilt, and the brakes were adjusted in 2023. The low-back bucket seats are trimmed in black vinyl with red piping and are joined by a color-coordinated dash pad and door panels. Woven floor mats line the footwells, and the car is equipped with a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a wooden shift knob, and bright dashboard trim. A wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel frames a central tachometer with an inset oil pressure gauge as well as a 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, an outside ambient air temperature gauge, and a combination gauge for fuel level, oil temperature, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 42k miles. Total mileage is unknown. The 1.3L Tipo 1315 twin-cam inline-four is equipped with a single Solex carburetor. The cylinder head was refurbished in 2015, and the upper radiator hose in addition to the air and fuel filter were replaced in January 2022, and the oil was changed in February 2023 along with the coolant. Engine casting numbers can be viewed in the gallery below. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. The fuel sending unit was repaired in November 2023, and additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.
