This 1959 Cadillac Series 62 convertible, Work consisted of refinishing the body in red, reupholstering the cabin in white and red leather, replacing the white power-operated soft top, and installing an air ride suspension system, 22″ Colorado Custom chrome wheels, and a custom stereo system. Power comes from a 390ci V8 paired with a four-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, and additional equipment includes power-assisted steering, air conditioning, a power-adjustable front bench seat, an aftermarket horn, and power windows. This Series 62 convertible is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Arizona title. The car was finished from the factory in Dover White (12), and it was refinished in red. The front and rear grilles along with the chrome trim were also refinished, and the power-operated soft top was fitted with a replacement white vinyl canvas. Additional equipment includes driver and passenger-side adjustable spotlights, rear fender skirts, tail fins, bullet-style taillights, and a reverse lamp. Colorado Custom 22″ chrome wheels are wrapped in thin whitewall all-season tires. A custom air suspension was installed during the aforementioned refurbishment. The car is also equipped with power-assisted steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted drums at all four corners. The cabin has been reupholstered and features a power-adjustable front bench seat trimmed in white and red leather with matching door panels and a replacement red dash pad and carpeting. Equipment includes power windows, Cadillac-branded floor mats, sun visors, an aftermarket horn, and an AM radio connected to a custom Rockford Fosgate stereo system. A two-tone steering wheel with a chrome horn ring sits ahead of a horizontal 120-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 64k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership; true mileage is unknown. The carpeted trunk compartment houses a spare tire and a custom enclosure housing the air suspension equipment. The 390ci V8 was factory rated at 325 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Hydra-Matic four-speed automatic transmission.
