This 1959 Chevrolet Corvette is powered by a 327ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in white with silver coves over red vinyl. The car was acquired by the current owner in 2011, and modifications include four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, and air conditioning. A white soft top, 15″ steel wheels, a Wonder Bar AM radio, and a dash-mounted rearview mirror are also equipped. This C1 is now offered by the seller on behalf of the owner with service records and a clean Tennessee title in the owner’s name. The seller notes that the car was refinished in its current combination of white with silver coves in 1993. A tear in the white soft top is shown in the gallery below. Additional equipment includes quadruple headlights, split chrome bumpers, fender vents, and dual exhaust outlets. Steel 15″ wheels feature spinner-style covers and are wrapped in 205/75 BFGoodrich whitewall tires. Four-wheel disc brakes, a Wilwood brake booster, and front coilovers are equipped. The cabin houses two bucket seats trimmed in red vinyl along with a color-coordinated dash pad, carpets, and door panels. A dash-mounted mirror, analog clock, and a Wonder Bar AM radio are equipped. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a sweeping 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, battery charge, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 22k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The replacement 327ci V8 sends power to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission. A photo of the engine stamping is shown in the gallery below. Additional underside photos are presented in the gallery. Filed under: c1
