1962 Chevrolet Impala 4-door.
2nd owner, 98,137 Original , always stored in climatized garage, runs great, everything functional (windows, heater, clock, gauges, etc).
Original 283 V8 2 barrel. 2-speed Powerglide transmission. All original aside from alternator, cap, wires, plugs. Hydraulic brakes converted to disc, front 2” drop spindles.
Set up to house Custom stereo, most original parts still on hand.
All original interior turquoise
All original paint white,  5% window tint.
20” 3-piece custom aluminum 5-spoke wheels by Intro(model Matrix)

y is original, with very few imperfections.
Glass is “perfect,” with no scratches. Windows all function as per factory design.
All door, window, trunk seals are in great condition. No leaks. All original. No evidence of leaks.
r undercarriage rust, very minor surface rust on body. One small area on the right front lower fender panel, behind the wheel repaired. New metal welded in.
All lights function. ps and lenses are in great condition, no cracks or breaks.
Heat. No A/C.
Seat material is exceptional. All adjustments, belt and buckles function as per factory design. no restrictions.
Carpets and mats are exceptional. No holes, or wear marks.
of headliner is exceptional. Lights function as per factory design.
All trim is present and in exceptional condition. All knobs and switches are present and function as per factory design.
All gauges function as per factory design. due to the modification of the generator to modern alternator, the generator light stays on but functions as per factory design.
Car did not come stock with radio. An aftermarket radio was installed, and some modifications were made to hide and fit custom radio. I still have the parts that were removed to allow custom radio to again be fitted. speakers in hat shelf, speaker box in trunk, and custom box built into front vent cavities.
All window and locks are manual and function as per factory design.
Cold start is good. May take 2 or 3 short crank attempts, after it starts great and idles great.  After cold start…it starts 1st crank attempt every time and idles great. Does not smoke and idle is great. Plugs and fuel pump have been replaced, and timing adjusted.  All old fuel drained and filled with leaded fuel.
Shifts well with no clunks.
Power steering. Slight leak at pump. Steers straight.
kes have been replaced with disc front and rear disc and updated brake booster. parking brake in good condition. pedal is soft, only due to the update. they will lock up the wheels.
