A very solid cuda. With under 63000 miles this car has a 273 V8, push button automatic, power steering, and manual brakes.
It has been a collector car since 1973, it has been taken to some car shows but has not competed. It’s always stored in the winter and has never been driven in the snow.
It has new power steering lines and a gearbox from Rack and Axle. with a recent oil change and differential fluid change. We also had the carburetor re-gasketed.
The paint on it currently is very unprofessional, the person who owned the car before us had a cheap paint job done and it has left the car with kind of a “hammer-tone” or mottled look to it. It does look like they color matched the paint to an original factory color, just not the original color of this car specifically.
All of the gauges work, including the fuel gauge. The quarter windows open up perfectly, the main windows have no issue whatsoever and they are manual/crank windows.
The back glass window is in excellent condition, if anything were to happen to the window it wouldn’t be very hard to find as many people saved them.
There is a little bit of body filler that was used on dents, there is no rust to repair on the car.
The interior is all stock except for the seats and the radio. The seats look to be out of a mid 60s GM product, possibly a 66’ GTO and they are in great condition. There’s a factory replacement radio that you can put back in, we’re not sure if the original speaker is in good condition or even if it’s still in place but we do have the speaker bracket. There is a slight crack on the seams of the dash pad but they are only about an inch long, other than that it’s in good condition with no other cracks or rips.
We have extra parts including carburetors, a water pump, extra trim, a replacement headliner, the original radio, both front fenders (possibly original color but in rough shape), and more. We also have a few different owners manuals, 2 original repair manuals, and a cd that contains repair manuals as well. I have repair receipts from our current ownership.
The trunk hinges need be readjusted because there is a slight panel gap, but it does seal.
It does leak a little bit engine oil and transmission fluid, as any 60 year old car would. We fixed the transmission lines and repaired some leaks in them. There’s a new thermostat in it and the rear axle has been serviced. Within a week of posting this we’re going to have the car taken in to replace the transmission gasket and have a new transmission filter put in. New fluid will be added but it will not be flushed.
