This 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider , 1.6L twin-cam inline-four. Prior to installation, the engine is said to have been rebuilt with high-compression pistons, aftermarket connecting rods, and camshafts sourced from a later 1.8L unit. The car is finished in red over black vinyl upholstery and is equipped with a black soft top, a five-speed manual transmission, front disc brakes, and 15″ steel wheels. A Weber carburetor has been added and is noted to have been cleaned and adjusted in anticipation of the sale. This Giulia Spider 1600 is now offered on behalf of the current owner with the removed 1.6L engine, a black hardtop, and a clean Washington State title that lists the car as a 1967 model. The body is finished in red and was repainted under previous ownership. Bullet-style mirrors are mounted atop the fenders, and further equipment includes a black soft top, exposed hood and trunk hinges, and chrome bumpers with overriders. Bumps are noted in the finish, blemishes are visible on the right front fender and door, and the windshield is scratched from the windshield wipers dragging. Factory 15″ steel wheels wear Alfa Romeo-branded hubcaps and are wrapped in 155-series Vredestein Sprint Classic tires that show 2021 production date codes. A painted spare wheel with an older Yokohama tire is housed in the trunk. Braking is managed by solid discs up front and finned aluminum drums out back. The suspension limiter straps are worn and in need of replacement. The low-back bucket seats are upholstered in black vinyl that extends to the door panels. Additional equipment includes a heater, a wood shift knob, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, and lap belts. The passenger-side rubber floor mat is ripped. The three-spoke steering wheel fronts Veglia instrumentation includes a tachometer with an inset oil pressure gauge as well as a 140-mph speedometer and a combination gauge showing oil and coolant temperature as well as fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 84k miles, and total mileage is unknown. The replacement 1.6L twin-cam inline-four is said to have been overhauled by the current owner prior to installation. Installed components reportedly include high-compression pistons, aftermarket connecting rods, and camshafts sourced from a later 1.8L engine. A Weiand open-element air cleaner sits atop the Weber downdraft carburetor, which is noted to have been cleaned and adjusted in anticipation of the sale. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. A section of the right rear floor was cut out and replaced, and additional photos of the underside are provided in the image gallery. The removed 1.6L twin-cam inline-four is included in the sale along with a removable black hardtop that can be viewed in the gallery.
