- This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Convertible’s modifications include a 427-cu.in. engine and a five-speed overdrive transmission swap and subtle suspension upgrades.
- The seller’s husband purchased this sports car from a jet engine mechanic about nine years ago, drove it less than 5,000 miles since then, and has recently passed away.
- “It runs well and has no known issues,” she notes.
- The 327 engine and manual transmission that they were told are original to the car go with the sale, as does a host of extra parts.
- A 427-cu.in. OHV V8 was installed by the previous owner, and though no paperwork was given to the current one, the photos reveal a y carburetor, lbrock aluminum intake manifold, and AFR aluminum heads.
