This 1967 Giulia 1300ti was sold new in Veroli, Italy and remained with the original owner until 1976, when it was sold to the second owner in Rome. He kept the 105 series sedan until the previous owner purchased the car and imported it to Athens in August 2006. Acquired by the seller four months ago, the car has been professionally detailed in preparation for sale. Power comes from a 1.3-liter twin-cam inline four mated to a 5-speed manual that was refreshed by the previous owner in 2007. This Giulia is now being offered by BaT regular Alex V with Italian Registry paperwork, Greek import documentation, service records from 2007, and a clean Greek title in the seller’s name. The car was repainted 25 years ago in its original Azzurro Spazio (Space Blue, AR-330) color. The paint was applied in a period correct single coat fashion. The underside of the bonnets and parts of the trunk were repainted in the exterior color in 2009, though they should have received a black crackle finish. Less than 50 kms ago the car was professionally cleaned, polished, and detailed with Nanolex products. New headlights and taillights were installed in February 2007. Also at that time, the steel wheels were sandblasted to bare metal, painted silver, fitted with chrome hubcaps, and wear new Vredestein Classic tires. Inside, a chocolate brown upholstery contrasts nicely against the painted interior metal. The previous owner removed and thoroughly cleaned the interior in 2007, and also replaced the door and trunk seals. Records indicate the second owner in Rome rarely used this car, with the odometer showing less than 6,500 kms (4,040 miles) when it was sold in 2006. Greek emission tests show the car had 9,830 kms on September 9, 2011, and 9,993 kms on January 9, 2018, indicating the car was driven only 101 miles in six years and four months. The odometer in the functioning Jaeger instrument cluster currently shows 10,145 kms (6,303 miles). The 1.3-liter twin cam inline-four produced 81 hp when new and is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. A Weber carburetor was installed by a previous owner, though the original Solex unit will be included in the sale. Additionally, the car has been modified with a servo brake booster from a 1600 of the same era. The seller notes that it considerably improves the braking performance of the car. Last serviced two years ago and driven sparingly since, the car has received the following maintenance since 2007: February 2007 – 6,870 kms – All oils changed including differential and gearbox, new spark plugs, distributor points/cap, plug cables, all filters, fuel pump, starter and dynamo overhauled as a precautionary measure, front pads and brake fluid renewed, brake lines renewed as necessary, all suspension components duly inspected and renewed as necessary, exhaust mounts and new front part of the exhaust renewed, sump tank flange renewed, valve cover gasket renewed, camshaft chain tightened, new wipers, washer fluid bag, rebound straps, horns July 2008 – 7,850 kms – Radiator flushed and cleaned, added fresh coolant October 2008 – 7,960 kms – Changed oils, filters, and distributor cap September 2009 – 8,450 kms – Carburetor replaced with freshly overhauled Weber, some front sway bar bushings replaced January 2016 – 9,860 kms – Oil and filter change Many photographs of the undercarriage can be seen in the gallery below. The car has been mainly used for shows and parades while in Greece, and was consistently maintained by the previous owner while being stored in a climate controlled garage with other Alfas. The photo above and more in the gallery show the car being used for Alfa Romeo Greece’s official presentation of the new Giulia in 2016. The original jack, owner’s manual, various receipts, and hand written service records from 2007 to present come with the car, along with Italian Registry paperwork and all Greek import documentation from 2006. This car also has FIVA A2 classification.
