1967 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser

This 1967 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser station wagon was refurbished and modified following its purchase by the seller two years ago. It is powered by a replacement 455ci Big Block V8 that features an Edelbrock AVS-series carburetor, long-tube headers, a four-core Champion aluminum radiator, and a 2.5″ Holley exhaust system. The rear wheels are driven through a replacement Muncie four-speed manual transmission, and the body was refinished in Satin Arctic White following metalwork and corrosion repairs. The cabin has been reupholstered, and it features a custom audio system with a RetroSound head unit, Kicker and Rockford Fosgate speakers, an Infinity subwoofer, and a four-channel amplifier. Other changes include LED exterior lighting, 20″ REV wheels, a lowered suspension with airbags out back, front disc brakes, VintageAir air conditioning, and Dakota Digital instrumentation with a GPS-based speedometer. This Vista Cruiser is now offered with records, the removed 330ci V8 engine, the removed Jetaway transmission, a set of Super Sport wheels with tires, and a clean Georgia title in the seller’s name. The car was finished from the factory in Provincial White (C) and was refinished in Satin Arctic White following metalwork and corrosion repairs. LED headlights have been added, and the body also features a roof rack and bright trim. The power antenna does not work, and the power tailgate only operates via the dashboard switch. A crease is noted in the bodywork behind the right-rear wheel well, and other imperfections include flaking chrome, cracks in two of the Vista Roof panes, and scratches in the rear side glass. The 20″ REV wheels are mounted with General G-Max AS-03 tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and the brake system has been retrofitted with discs up front. The front suspension was rebuilt during the refurbishment, including replacing the ball joints, tie rod ends, and bushings, and it features Viking coilovers up front and lowering springs with Air Lift airbags out back. The upholstery, carpeting, headliner, and weather seals were replaced during the refurbishment, and sound-damping material was added within the cabin. The aftermarket audio system features a RetroSound bluetooth radio, Rockford Fosgate door speakers, Kicker dashboard speakers, a four-channel Rockford Fosgate amplifier, and an Infinity compact subwoofer. A VintageAir air-conditioning system has been added. Dakota Digital instrumentation includes a GPS-based speedometer, an inset tachometer, and a combination gauge. The digital odometer indicates 2,900 miles, and total chassis mileage is unknown. The replacement 455ci Big Block V8 was installed last year, and it features a 650cfm Edelbrock AVS-series carburetor, long-tube headers, a four-core Champion aluminum radiator, and a 2.5″ Holley exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. The fuel tank was replaced during the refurbishment. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a replacement Muncie four-speed manual transmission with a Hays clutch and flywheel.
