This 1968 Ford LTD Country Squire wagon is powered by a Z-code 390ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in black over a matching vinyl interior. The car is said to have spent time in California before moving to Florida upon the seller’s acquisition in October 2015. Equipment includes 15” steel wheels with turbine-style covers, a luggage rack, a Magic Door Gate tailgate, power-assisted steering and brakes, faux-woodgrain paneling, air conditioning, dual side-facing rear seats, and a push-button AM radio. This 10-passenger Country Squire is now offered at no reserve with a clean Florida title in the seller’s name. The car is finished in black with faux-woodgrain paneling, quad headlights, a polished luggage rack, chrome-finished bumpers and brightwork, and “390” badging. Fading on the paneling and trim can be seen in the gallery below. Steel 15″ wheels wear factory turbine-style covers and are mounted with 225/75 Bridgestone Insignia SE 200 whitewall radial tires, and a spare tire is mounted in the rear cargo area. The car came factory-equipped with power-assisted steering and brakes, the latter of which feature front discs and rear drums. The cabin is equipped with front and rear bench seats trimmed in black vinyl with a matching dashboard and door panels, both of which are accented by woodgrain veneer trim. Amenities include air conditioning, lap belts, and a factory push-button AM radio. A two-spoke steering wheel features wood veneer trim and frames a horizontal 120-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 48k miles, approximately 100 of which have been added during current ownership. The cargo area is accessed via the three-way Magic Door Gate, which drops down as a tailgate or opens out like a door with the glass up or down. It also features a pair of side-facing third-row jump seats that can fold flush with the load floor. The Z-code 390ci V8 was factory-equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, and an oil change was performed in 2021. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed C6 automatic transmission and a 2.79:1 rear gear, and the seller reports a transmission fluid leak is present. Additional underbody photos are presented in the gallery below. The vehicle identification number decodes as follows: 8 – 1968 model year G – Chicago, Illinois assembly plant 76 – Country Squire 10-passenger wagon Z – 390ci engine with a four-barrel carburetor
