Here we have a 1969 Ford Mustang Pro-Touring resto-mod. As the pro-touring market
taking over, this gorgeous mustang has undergone countless hours of being a frame off, full
rotisserie restoration build. This 1969 classic has been meticulously built by Big Lowrys Customs
using only the finest components available. This mustang is extremely fast, extraordinary clean.
This one-of-a-kind fastback has been generously coated with a super thick Rhino lined
spray, which has been color matched to blend in with the body, and the inside of the engine bay
as well the interior of the body. It will definitely hold up to all weather and debris without
rusting with durability. It has many one-off accents in the engine bay as well the interior, with
metal work that has dimples to dress the car and makes it even more unique.
With a bucking 700 horsepower, 347 twin turbo stroker V8, the motor has Eagle forged
rotating assembly, with Wiseco forged pistons. It has a 10:1 compression, Pro CompeDDon
aluminum heads that are port and polished, Speedway roller rockers, compeDDon cam,
hydraulic roller turbo camshaft, competitionon cam valve springs retainers, APD blow through
billet 900 CFM Inforcer carb that’s built for the motor, an MSD ignition and distributor . With two
twin turbos that are 60mm each, 20 pounds of boost giving this wicked Pony some serious kick.
IDs cooled with a CX racing air front intercooler, a dual Stahl fan followed by a 4 core, aluminum
champion radiator. The transmission is a Hughes C4, with 3200 Stahl converter. Suspension we
have a TCI Mustang 2 front coil over suspension with 13’ Willwood 6 piston brakes for that
stopping power . 9’ Posi rear end with 355 gears, 3 link pro touring coil over rear suspension
with a custom wishbone spline that runs down the middle of the carriage for stiffness followed
by 3’ dual flow exhaust carefully routed from front to back. This mustang sits on 22×11 and 20×8
American racing rims, that were custom powder coated Bronze.
The exterior of the mustang has a special custom paint that’s Auburn, Root-beer, pearl
metallic with black matte accents on the body and painted bronze pin stripes to keep your eye
flowing from front to back. The door handles are from Kindigit that are flush on the door, that
pop open with a touch, and Anvil carbon fiber front and rear bumpers that are tucked in the
body with side valiants that run all the way along the car that are rhinoed and powder coated
matte black followed by hood scoop and nose scoop.
The interior has brown tones that give a nice contrast and separation. The 1969 Fastback
has brushed aluminum parts such as a Budnik steering wheel that is upholstered to match the
interior as well a Dlt steering column. A Lokar shifter that’s an automatic for that simple easy
driving. The dashboard as you can see was fully fabricated to make the design more streamline
with Autometer gauges that are eye appealing and showing class. As you noticed the interior,
we have a 10-point roll cage that is wrapped around the inside of the car and fabricated as part
of the dash like an endoskeleton. This Mustang will not twist. The seats are wrapped in a brown
marble leather, keeping the original seats and adding a little more cushion for the body. Both
front seats and backseat have race belts, and brushed dimpled and billet interior accents. The
door panels are custom made and designed, with sound deadener under the carpet.
