The seller describes this 1969 Firebird Convertible as a “ s Am tribute.” Since only eight real 1969 T/A convertibles were built, for most, the closest that they will ever get to owning one is a tribute car. 

In this case, the s Am style hood, fender-mounted engine compartment air extractors, rear airfoil, and callouts were installed, and the body was repainted and striped. A Ram Air 400 engine, which was standard in the s Am, was not procured, however, as the seller chose to instead modify the car’s 350 engine for more performance by upgrading its induction system and adding a Ram Air system. Dual exhaust, which was standard on the s Am, was not installed. This ‘Bird’s Hydra- c 350 three-speed automatic transmission also remains. The seller says, “The engine, brakes, A/C system, and transmission have all been restored.” In some instances, they’ve been modified for improved performance.
