1972 Chevrolet Corvette C3

This 1972 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is finished in red over matching vinyl and is powered by a 350ci V8 linked to a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a white soft top, 15″ Rally wheels, disc brakes, power steering, retractable headlights, a cabin heater, and a Corvette-branded cassette stereo. The car was acquired by the current owner in 2018, and subsequent work included installing a Flowmaster exhaust, rebuilding the brake calipers, and repairing the door handles and locks. This C3 convertible is now offered in Rhode Island by the seller on behalf of the owner with Connecticut registration. The car left the factory finished in Mille Miglia Red (973), and the seller notes that it was refinished prior to the current owner’s acquisition. Features include a retractable white convertible top, pop-up headlights, twin front grilles, fender vents, quadruple taillights, and dual rectangular exhaust outlets. The headlamp seals were replaced in 2019. The 15″ Rally wheels are mounted with 225/70 Firestone Firehawk SS20 tires. The car is equipped with power steering, and the brake calipers were rebuilt in 2019. The cabin houses bucket seats trimmed in red vinyl. A Corvette-branded cassette player and heater are equipped. The seat belts were replaced and the door handles and locks were repaired in 2019. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a replacement 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer. A clock and an ammeter along with auxiliary gauges for fuel level, water temperature, and oil pressure are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 11k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
