This 1972 Volkswagen Type 2 is a Brazilian-market Kombi with a 23-window conversion and a retractable sunroof. It also features 15″ wheels and front disc brakes. Power comes from a 1600cc flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Acquired by the selling dealer in 2022, this VW bus is offered with a clean Illinois title. The bus was modified with a sunroof and additional windows before it was refinished in its current shades of orange and white. Equipment includes hinged windshield panes, bright-trimmed bumpers with overriders, and a roof basket. Fuchs-style 15″ wheels wear Porsche-crest center caps and 185/60 MOMO M-2 Outrun tires. A front stabilizer bar and front disc brakes are additional elements. The split front bench is trimmed in gray vinyl with contrasting piping, and gray carpets line the floors. Three-point seatbelts and a billet aluminum shifter are also noted up front. A two-spoke steering wheel frames the 120-km/h speedometer, which has a five-digit odometer showing 71k kilometers (~44k miles). Total mileage is unknown. The rear cabin has two benches beneath a perforated headliner and a hand-crank sunroof. The replacement flat-four displaces 1600cc according to the selling dealer, who reports it sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle.
