This 1973 Porsche 911S was reportedly sold new in Germany and imported to the UK in the 2000s, where it was modified as a 911 ST tribute. The car was subsequently refurbished between 2014 and 2015 by Prill Porsche Classics of Essex, England, before it was imported to the US and acquired by the current owner. The car is finished in white over black, and power comes from a Supertec Performance 3.0L twin-plug flat-six paired with a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle. Features include a composite decklid, an FIA-FT3 fuel cell, a full roll cage, a fire-suppression system, Recaro seats with Schroth harnesses, a lightweight carpet kit, and more as outlined below. A June 2020 service included engine and transaxle reseals, in addition to the installation of stainless steel exhaust headers. This 911 ST tribute is now offered on dealer consignment with its removed 2.4-liter flat-six, German registration records, engine invoices from Supertec, records from Prill Porsche Specialists, an FIA Historic Technical Passport, recent invoices, and New York registration listing it as a 1972 model. The exterior was painted in its current Light Ivory (131) in the 2000s and received additional paintwork by Prill Porsche Classics in 2014. Features include flared fenders, a modified rear valance with triple exhaust ports, a front spoiler, a composite front trunk lid, black Porsche lower-body striping, cowl-mounted fuel and electrical cutoff switches, and external hood and decklid latches. Imperfections in the paint are noted on the front end from regular use. The staggered-width 15″ Fuchs wheels are mounted with Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires measuring 225/50 up front and 285/40 out back. New suspension and braking components were installed in 2014, and invoices for the work can be viewed in the gallery. Dual Recaro Apex seats are fitted with Schroth harnesses, and other interior equipment includes a roll cage, a fire-suppression system, and a drilled aluminum dead pedal. Fuel and electrical cutoff switches have been added to the dashboard. A leather-wrapped MOMO Prototipo steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a centrally mounted tachometer with a 7,200-rpm redline and a 250-km/h speedometer. The clock has been replaced with a blanking plate. Just over 6k kilometers (~3,700 miles) are shown on the five-digit odometer. Total mileage is unknown. The 3.0L twin-plug flat-six was built by Supertec Performance of Fallbrook, California, in December 2007, and features the following: A 911SC aluminum engine case 95mm Mahle aluminum RSR pistons and cylinders A custom MFI system Supertec valve springs and head studs D.R. billet camshafts Carrillo connecting rods Titanium spring retainers 911SC oil pump Carrera timing chain tensioners Aluminum RSR flywheel Turbo valve covers The engine was disassembled and resealed by DeMan Motorsport of Blauvelt, New York, in June 2020. Other work at that time included resealing the transaxle and installing stainless steel headers. An invoice for the work performed is viewable in the gallery. An FIA Historic Technical Passport was issued in April 2018 when the car was fitted with a 2.5L flat-six. An expiration date in 2028 is listed. An interview with the current owner along with walk-around and driving footage is viewable below.
